6. VISIT THE LIBRARY
Explore the website of any city’s library and learn about their events!
Events at the library are not only insightful, entertaining and free but of quality as well. I can remember being a little girl and my mother exposing me to a long list of rewarding events sponsored at my hometown’s libraries. By the same token, my children enjoy attending the “homework center” at our local library. It’s facilitated by certified teachers and other qualified knowledge, and helpful staff.

At our local library, when my 8 year old daughter is finished with her homework, reads to trained dogs and participates in dance classes! At other times she is involved with library hosted cooking classes and arts & crafts events. My baby girl also is excited about renting books. She enjoys reading but the process of “book renting” strikes her independent appeal. She looks forward to the process of selecting a book choice, self-check out, and responsibility of returning books in a timely manner so that others can read.
Both of my children take advantage of Library’s useful, enriching, no cost resources. Not to mention, they are thrilled and I love it! Further, visiting libraries in different cities is super cool! But, spending more time at your local library is even better!

7. Trolley TourS
See some of what the city’s culture has to offer when you tour the sounds and sights of local happenings on board a classic red Trolley! Bike riding tours offer the same pleasantries as walking and trolley tours. If you go bike riding on empty or fail to pack a snack, you can always opt to park your bike and pay for a bite to eat.

11. Roller Skating
Get the energy up! Enjoy the music, dance, and skate! There is always an entry fee at skating rinks but it’s typically affordable and worth the endless hours of rhythm and wheels! Whether it is a Science Museum, Cultural Museum, or Children’s Museum you can bet on an insightful time with captivating sights! Some museums have entry fees and some don’t. When planning to visit check with the museums in your area to obtain operation hours and rates.

14. Visit A County/City Fair
The food, fun and excitement runs rapid at county and city fairs. These pleasant little winners are smaller in size and more economically priced than state fairs, although state fairs are nice too!

Create your own food tasting tour. The more in your group, the more fun and tastier this should be! When your group agrees on a restaurant, order any combination of entrees and appetizers. Each order can be shared between 2-3 people. Order enough from the menu to go around plus some! Finally, splitting the cost between food tasters. This event can be a low-cost not to mention fulfilling.

16. Enjoy Wine Tasting Tours
Create your own wine tasting tour by simply having everyone in your group order a different type of wine. Ask your server for shot glasses suitable for sharing and tasting.
